About Liubou Sas

I come from a remote area in Belarus, where there were no art schools, and the drawing teacher was a math teacher. But I found true peace and happiness in pencils and paper. I received an education unrelated to creativity and this study for 5 years was torture for me. But closer to 30, I rewrote my life... from a blank canvas and became what I was born to be-an artist. I moved to the city and came to the studio of the world-famous artist A. Maley and began to study with him on an individual basis, as the old masters did. After 3 years, I have my own workshop, I am a participant in international exhibitions and fairs, a nominee and winner of competitions and the owner of art awards. My paintings are mostly of women. Because a woman is the most complex being in the world. I can solve them endlessly for a long time, while trying to understand myself at the same time. But I don't think I have enough for a lifetime. I put a piece of my soul into each picture and I am happy to share it with others.
