Biography
My art is intuitive and spontaneous rather than technical. Each piece is a mystery waiting to be solved. Once the brush touches the canvas I allow my inner voice to emerge and guide me through the process. My work represents a spiritual and emotional journey that sets aside all thoughts of logic, technique and perspective. I favor emotion and mood rather than detail and realism.
It is my goal as an artist to evoke from the viewer an emotional or spiritual response and to bring about a connection to the piece in some way. It is only then I feel I have succeeded.
I have been creating art in some form for over 40 years. My works have sold works throughout the United States and Internationally as well.
