Biography
" I strive to combine the aesthetic feel of ancient and modern using a bold mix of styles, ranging from sleek and contemporary to weathered and organic. Using brushes and palette knives, I create works that are abstract or have landscape elements to them. My goal is not to document subjects or to make statements, but to make an emotional connection with the viewer allowing them to explore their own spirit and inspire them as well. "
I work on two main themes ~ Abstraction which focuses on texture, color and mood. The other is Abstract Landscapes in which I add a realistic element ( home, barn, building ) to my abstract landscapes. I need and love to challenge myself and working on these themes keeps my work fresh, alive and inspiring !
