I was drawn to this painting and was delighted when it arrived. Although the work is abstract landscape I later asked the artist what/where was the inspiration for it and discovered that it was inspired by a place that was just ten miles from where I came from. For me she has created a sense of place and feeling.

Thank you for your generous review - should you ever be in London, I would thoroughly recommend the walk from Hammersmith Bridge, along the towpath through Barnes (taking in this view), and back to Hammersmith via Chiswick Bridge. Plenty of pretty pubs for a pause, along the way! x
