About Linda Eades Blackburn
Biography
I have an extensive background in Illustration and Graphic design which helped me to build a solid foundation in composition and painting for my Fine Art career. During my years of working in Commercial Art, I continued to paint Fine Art as well, showing in Art Festivals and taking Portrait Commissions.
I am constantly exploring new approaches and new techniques to use in my paintings and like to work in different mediums and with new surfaces. Mostly though, it is painting life that interests me. People, animals, birds, even the living earth! I strive to show texture, feelings in my art and seek to draw emotion from the people who view my work.
