  • Biography

    Lilith Tonakanyan was born in Artik, Armenia. She discovered her passion for art early on and pursued formal education at the Art School of Artik, graduating in 2009. Eager to deepen her skills and knowledge, Lilith continued her studies at the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts, where she graduated with a degree in painting in 2016.

    Throughout her academic journey and beyond, Lilith has actively participated in numerous group exhibitions, both locally and internationally. Her works have been showcased in various prestigious venues:

    In 2013, Lilith exhibited her work at the Art Center in Gyumri, celebrating the beauty of the city in the "Our Beautiful Gyumri" exhibition.
    In 2014, she was part of the "Benetton Image Mundi" exhibition in Venice, Italy. The same year, her art was displayed at the "Reflections" cinema house in Gyumri during the "Leninakan" exhibition.
    Also in 2014, she participated in the 2nd International Women's Art Exhibition "Woman's World" in Izmir, Turkey. Lilith's works were also shown at the Municipality Hall in Artik in 2014.
    In 2015, she exhibited at the "Nane" Gallery in Yerevan and Vanadzor, Armenia. Her art was part of the Dilijan exhibition in 2016 and at the Union of Artists Exhibition Hall in Gyumri, celebrating the Union's 7th anniversary.
    In 2017, Lilith's work was featured in Tigran Mansurian's anniversary event in Artik, and she had multiple exhibitions in Yerevan at the "Narekatsi" Art Institute and "Nane" Gallery, as well as at the City Hall in Gyumri. She continued to display her work at the House of Architects and "Nane" Gallery in Yerevan throughout 2017. Most recently, in 2018, her art was part of the "Armenian Artists" exhibition at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex in Yerevan.

    Lilith Tonakanyan's artistic journey is marked by her dedication to her craft and her active participation in the art community. Her vibrant and expressive works continue to captivate audiences and contribute to the rich tapestry of contemporary art.
