  • Biography
    I have been painting professionally since 2003 and for the past 18 years have been mainly producing highly textured, abstract impressionistic seascapes in acrylic paint from my studio in Cowes, Isle of Wight, UK. I have always adored the varied coastlines of the Island and beyond, and I especially love painting the seaweed bedecked , craggy shorelines at low tide. My palette comes mainly from observations on coastal walks and my emotional response to my surroundings. I am also a collector of painterly styles of textiles, prints and ceramics from the 1950s & 60s with all their wonderful texture and colour, which also influence my work.

    Event: February Promotion

    Venue: Seaview Art Gallery, Seaview High Street, Isle of Wight

    I am delighted to say that a selection of my paintings have just been hung in this lovely gallery. As the gallery is under new ownership, there will be a special February promotion and I have been asked to remain with the gallery when the promotion ends.
