About Lee Jenkinson

My work at present consists of three distinct practices, sculpture, life drawing and expressive portrait painting. I tend to flit from one to another to keep things fresh, but each type of work involves working freely with very little planning involved.
The sculptures are loosely based around my childhood and are produced using hand tools. The materials I have to hand inform the compositions which tend to develop and change as the process of crafting goes on. 
My painting work explores process and technique using the classical idiom of the human figure and portrait as a vessel for this exploration. It is in a contemporary grotesque style omitting much of the detail in order to imply a narrative leaving room to trigger the viewers' imagination.
With regards to selling my work, I can ship to most countries around the world, the featured countries in my shipping lists are just a selection for example costs.
