About Laura Andreotti

Art has always been my travelling companion. I started as a child to tell my experiences through colors, experimenting with different techniques and materials. This continues to this day, it is a neverending journey to discover myself. My subjects are portraits created by digging into the human soul and corroding the masks, trying to bring out the true essence. I always paint different subjects but in reality I always portray a part of myself. Lately my attention is on metals and their multiple forms to transform in contact with acid and basic solutions, and that’s how my creatures are born, from a metamorphosis that I mold and between a shade of green, blue and gold appears the soul of the picture. After a social search it seems to me that Artfinder is more akin to what for me is art. It’s the first time I choose to sell in a virtual gallery and what drives me to do so is the desire to experiment with new current ways.
