About Lael Har

My adventures in the Colorado mountains among aspen groves and rivers have inspired my creative process. I’m interested in the play where inner and outer landscapes meet and transform into feel-good exploration of color, texture, light, and composition. The intuitive discovery of painting for me is guided by the moment to moment aliveness that brings embodiment and present awareness into being. I often paint wet on wet with big brushes, pallet knives, and spatulas creating an abstracted vibrant vision inviting the viewer to step into the painting to experience the energy of every brush stroke.
