About Ksenija Vucinic

I paint as means of processing what I experience in life - its intimidating beauty,  its terrors, its normality. 

I paint in an attempt to find comfort in the face of transience of everything and, above all, myself. 

I paint to leave a trace of, to communicate, the sensations and experiences as they arise from me, one particular example of a human being. 

The best I can hope for is that, in this trace I leave behind, like a slug, some may find a part of their own reflection.
