The Feeling of Water and Light ☘️

I am a watercolor artist from Kyiv. Through my works, I strive to convey the beauty of the world around me, sharing what I feel and love with others.

Watercolor is a mobile and unpredictable medium. I am fascinated by giving it freedom on the page and allowing it to be my co-author. The brightness and transparency of watercolor are well-suited for conveying emotions and feelings, which is why I chose this medium. In my art, I strive to find a balance between depicting recognizable forms and abstraction, between the soft shimmer of free washes and bright, bold accents. Painting is like music to me, and in each watercolor study, I aim to capture the melody of the moment.

Flowers and plants are a great source of inspiration for me. They are constantly changing: a new flower blooms, the shade of the petals shifts… They are delicate, fragile, yet full of strength and life. I love to observe and reflect this marvelous life in my paintings. Painting a blossoming flower feels like capturing a moment of eternity on the page.

I also have an architectural background, which may be why I enjoy drawing cities, buildings, and architectural details. I was a brand friend for Royal Talens and represented them as an artist at the "World of Stationery" exhibition in Kyiv. From 2017 to 2019, I held master classes and taught in art studios across Ukraine.

My watercolor paintings have found homes in private collections worldwide, from the USA and the UK to Israel, France, and beyond.
