About Kinga Sokol

I am self taught, never had a chance to attend any art college or academy. I had a dream of becoming a professional artist, and paint realism. I always have been fascinated with oil as a medium. My passion for art started quite early. As a 4 year old child i have been into painting with water colors and drawing with pencils and crayons. I did it until i finished high school. I was very active promoting art at my school, having exibitions and also i have sold few of my pastel drawings on art auctions. I came back to pursuing my art only 2 years ago. I have learnt myself how to paint in oil, different techniques....and still learning as i go. I love to paint people caught in a moment, nature...especially trees. I get inspired by people and beautiful nature...living here in Devon. I am a work in progress myself, and i put a lot of work and hours into every single piece i make. Your website is very popular among the top artists and i would like to be a part of that. It would mean a lot to me.
