    Here are the acrylic paints in my studio. Acrylics are truly wonderful to use as they come in a wide variety of states, from fluid to heavy body, and have so many additives and mediums to play with that the possibilities for exploration are endless!

    ME SKETCHING IN MY HOME LANDSCAPE

    Emotional connection to my landscape is a vital component and driving force of my work. I love Dumfries and Galloway as a home, for it's sense of space, peace and not least its honest beauty. Here I'm sketching at one of my favourite spots looking across the Solway Firth towards Cumbria and the Isle of Man (with my best friend Saffy looking for a catch in the corner!)
