Event: “Volunteers in the battle for life and freedom”

UARTIST, the international community of Ukrainian artists, is hosting an exhibition called "Volunteers in the Battle for Life and Freedom" to showcase the exceptional contributions of ordinary people in the fight for victory and freedom. The artworks have been created by Ukrainian artists who either reside in Ukraine or have Ukrainian roots.

The gallery’s exhibition for August 2023 is the 5th Annual “Primary Colors” Online Art Exhibition. 8th prize in Top 20 Painting & Other Media Artists category.

I participated in an artist competition that focused on self-expression, techniques, and colors. My entry, Immigration - Emigration, was successful and earned 3rd place. Additionally, Opulent Art Magazine & Catalogue Issue 004 featured an article about the piece titled "Kateryna Goncharova. Emigration Artwork Philosophy".

Event: “In Ukraine”

As part of the project, there was an exhibition featuring 27 UARTIST artists, myself included. During the exhibition, I showcased my piece titled "Ghost of War," which I created in the early days of the outbreak of full-scale hostilities in my home country of Ukraine.

A reception was held to celebrate the 70th anniversary of India's Republic Day. In attendance were Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, representatives from foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Armenia, government officials, MPs, political figures, and public figures. Before the official ceremony, Deputy PM and Indian ambassador to Armenia Kishan Dan Dewal presided over the opening of “The Art of India” exhibition.

Biography
Kateryna Goncharova is a Ukrainian artist, and currently residing in Armenia. Initially, she obtained a degree in design and architecture but later chose to develop as an artist because she always felt much more drawn to this craft.
Her work revolves around important social and philosophical issues such as war, emigration, the role of volunteers, refugee life, environmental issues, and issues faced by women in a patriarchal society. She also loves creating figurative artworks dedicated to human diversity, inclusivity, and inner strength. Her pieces depict people of all genders, ages, races, and social statuses. Kateryna prefers to create her works in mixed media with oils and acrylics.
