The works of Karoline Kroiß invite its viewers to pause, let the world slow down and seize an opportunity to simply let go for a moment. The artist employs acrylic paint to create snapshots, which upon closer inspection turn out to be surreal situations. The patterns slowly escape the women's clothes to connect with the background, which in turn leaks over and merges with the women. Yet, they are oblivious to this, for they are so emerged in their own dreams.
