Biography
I am a recent Fine Art graduate. I have always been passionate about creating interpretations of 'the everyday' and what it means to me. My themes/placements within each piece are usually governed by a composition in my head, that I then transfer onto a canvas. Using my artistic licence, I use either oil or acrylic paints to replicate the composition from my head onto the canvas, being sure to include as much detail as I can. My paintings are often described as realistic, with photographic qualities. As I work from photographs, this is usually the direction I tend to steer in, and I am always keen to challenge myself on the likability captured in the finished product.
Ultimately, my aim is to create Art that speaks to as many audiences as possible. My notion is, 'the everyday' is something that we all can identify with, and should therefore be a concept/theme that is easily accessible.
