About Juliette Belmonte
Biography
I feel great joy through the practice of making art as to me it's a meditation on beauty and the surprising form that it can sometimes take. I paint both from the live model and portraits from the imagination, sometimes combining the two.
I often incorporate mixed media into my oil paintings such as fabrics, found objects, gold leaf, collage papers and organic elements.
