About Julie Stepanova

  • Biography
From an early age I am worried about nature. Each leaf, breath of wind, drop of rain is unique. And never repeat.
The power of nature is impressive and frightening at the same time. Nature gives us everything we have. And at the same time, it acts as an almost silent background for our life.
I paint landscapes because I can't stop. They impress me. Cut into my memory and stay with me.
In my paintings I try to convey the moment, the mood of nature. My feelings from what I saw. After all, everything around changes every second. But, to the one drawn on the canvas, you can return. Return to the source of sensation.
This is what I want to share with you.
