Biography
Julie Naima is an abstract painter from Quebec, Canada. A self-taught artist, she spends a few years experimenting with various techniques and mediums. It’s only when she puts her focus on color with acrylic paints that Julie finally discovers what resonates most with her: showcasing positive emotions through solid shapes and high-contrast colors.
''Experimenting with colors to explore the psychological effects they can have on us is the basis of my creative process. I aim to express feelings and capture energies. I like to draw my inspiration from nature, my travels, poetry, and children's literature.
I hope my art brings a smile to your face and light in your heart.''
Julie’s work can be found in many private collections throughout Canada, Europe, Australia, and the United States.
