About Jon Garbet
Biography
Visual artist based in Lyon (France), specialized in collage art and their variants.
Handmade and unique artworks created with original paper cuts from old books, advertisements, photographies and postcards that I've been collecting and archiving for more than two decades.
In my artworks you'll find touches of surrealism, dadaism, pop culture, typography, street art, comics, graffiti, cinema, vintage propaganda, newspapers, photography.. among other things I love. Some of my art has been exhibited in Spain, Luxembourg, United States and France. Apart of this, I work as full time illustrator and I regularly do art commissions.
