I love the ocean, the shoreline, the welcoming beach, the waves and find it truly healing to sit by the water. It is my church. The calm, the storms, the mighty whales, the clever octopus…
Inspired by LOVE , people, multitudes of creatures, life forms and microcosms moving everywhere…Ah the trees, the mountains!
Dreams are a continual influence on my art. As is what lies beyond all this here that we are journeying through. As for dreams it seems the thing that makes dreams less real is matter and what matter is this? In my painting I try to find the space between here and there. Portals portals…you get to fly when you go to sleep. I even talked to the whales once…and far more besides…
I like to paint a story that can be open ended. I have my thoughts, you have yours…
Ah what else?..So much music, live music, skateboarding and punk rock, (Ah what days! I must dig that board out…) friends, happiness, sadness, all that mystery, the goodness, the bad, the pain, the joy, so many stories. Some end, some are endless…
