About John Begley

His father spent his career as a commercial artist, including as an artist for the U.S. Navy on Mare Island during World War II painting portraits of Admirals and Navy warships and retired as art director at Marine World Africa USA in San Francisco. John is 74 years old and has been painting in oils since he was 10 years old in 1955. He has spent his art career as a well-respected photographer, graphic artist, and painter.
