    Jodie Silverman is a Manchester based Fine Artist and Art Psychotherapist. She predominantly works figuratively in graphite and oil paint, she embraces the study of the human figure and enjoys learning classical drawing and painting techniques. Her influences are many and varied with the most prominent being Frida Khalo, Paula Rego, Margaret Bowland and Sean Cheetham. Jodie incorporates surreal and symbolic elements into her figurative work, allowing emotions to be articulated and enabling the construction of a narrative around the subject.
