About Jo Vincent

I am a self taught artist that found my passion for painting at 26 when I suffered two serious strokes, during the rehabilitation to regain my basic daily living skills I started painting as part of my recovery and as a way to express myself whilst I had lost the ability to speak. Painting then became part of my every day life and has been ever since. Painting, my use of colour and movement across the canvas is the way of dissolving my limitation, expressing myself and responding to the world around me. 

My work in the main consists of pallet knife abstracts and statement abstract sea and landscapes, but also includes figurative abstract.
