This Anglo-Chinese artist is extremely talented. He brings a heave brush stroke to his paintings which I like very much (the influence of Van Gogh?); and this adds solidity to certain subjects that call for it---such as my painting of Oxford England. Thiscyoung man can find the warm comforting beauty in solid stone. Moreover, he is not afraid to add an element of contemporary whimsicality, such as the helmeted individual racing toward the viewer on a motorbike. I plan to buy more from Jixiang Dong!

This picture of Jixiang Dong immediately attracted my attention, Florence is a city to which I return again and again, but I think that it remained a mystery to me. This mystery is also in this work, there are a certain gloominess and radiance. Thank you, Jixiang Dong!
