She specializes in creating unusual beauty. Her work draws inspiration from American Subculture and Art History. She is inspired by Vintage, Victorian, Gothic, Rocker and Festival/Burner style; in fact, rebellious Alternative cultures in general. 

Van Hulle's dynamic use of graphic silhouettes, rich colors, patterns, and textures synthesizes artistic styles from the 1800's to Now.
