  • Biography

Inspired by the colours, light and textures of Nature, Jennifer has a deep passion for capturing these essences. Creating provocative pieces, that are both modern yet magical. Pieces perfect for the modern home or workspace.

Jennifer is a lifelong painter and a professional full-time artist since 2012. Jennifer spent her childhood exploring the woodlands and forests of rural Cheshire, England. Deeply inspired by the surroundings in which she grew up, she interprets these influences to create colourful, textural, expressive paintings, which resonate a mystical, dreamlike quality.

Now residing in Newcastle upon Tyne, Northern England, she continues to be inspired by the forests and countryside nearby. Working predominantly with a mix of media including: Oils and Acrylics. Jennifer's painting style can be described as abstract expressionist, with an impressionist feel. texture, colour and light are the key elements within the work.

Jennifer's pieces have been sold to both local and international collectors based in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States. With collectors also in England and across Europe.

"I think in the modern world it is very easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of day to day life and I love to think my paintings are little places to escape to, at least for a little while" J Taylor
