About Jayne Farrer

I am an artist living near Malton, close to the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors.  I paint wildlife and local landscapes in oil and watercolour, and also accept commissions.

I studied Art at Bolton University, specialising in Graphic and Fine Art.

My aim is simple – to create an image of a moment in time, capturing a view which time will always change. By painting these views I strive to capture the image, so the view and feelings are never lost or forgotten. I try to achieve the recognisable whilst enriching the colours of Mother Nature.
