About Jaroszewska Joanna (or Jarowska)

Jarowska has participated in over 50 artist exhibitions over the last 20 years. Jaroszewska’s current work comes from a collection of freely executed contemporary floral paintings, with a great sense of movement and colour. Her pieces are inspired by her travels in Spain and Italy. The vibrant, inviting colour palette of sensuous paint application results in a delightful feast for the senses.  

Floral pop-art images dominate Jaroszewska’s most recent collection of encaustic-formed color abstracts resembling floral ancestry to the willowy, engraved curvilinear forms that illicit memories of bursting flowers from the vase. Combining her adoration of the European garden, Jarowska expresses her inspiration of floral beauty through paintings vividly capturing the vibrant sensation and colors of joy presented in lifely flowers. Her work consists of layers upon layers of paint applied masterfully on canvas.

 

The same trademarks of confidence and competence are inherent in Jarowska’a creations; but the nuances and subtle changes in her palette, as well as the more recognizable variation in texture with the compilation of shapes, forms and layers, deliver a compelling visual feast that constitute her most engaging work to date.
