About Jaro Wave

My name is Jarosław Szewczyk, but I use the pseudonym Jaro Wave. I draw inspiration from the world around me - the beauty of nature, light, shadow and emotions that I encounter. These elements fuel my creative process. Creating art is my way of capturing moments and emotions that move me. Each photo is a unique narrative, a story that I want to share. Photography was a lifelong fascination. From my early experiences in the darkroom to my decision to pursue this profession, this journey has defined me. Photography has become my favorite medium because of the ability to capture detail and emotion in both digital and analog photography. I find beauty in both small and large works, depending on the story I want to tell. Each painting reflects my artistic vision and the emotions I want to convey. My artistic journey spans many years, from childhood curiosity to formal training and collective exhibitions and competitions. Today I call Glasgow home, where I continue to create and discover. I was looking for formal training to refine my skills and push the boundaries of my art. This was the foundation of my creative journey.
