Biography
Jan Walczewski, photographer specializing in architecture and art photography, as well as landscape and artistic photography
His fascination with art, and especially painting, has had a huge impact on his way of photographing. He often experiments using lenses he has constructed or modified himself, which allows him to achieve a more painterly and abstract effect without digital manipulation.
His minimalist seascapes are a particularly appreciated series of photographs. The photographs from the "Silence" and "Clouds and Sea" series are in private collections in the United States and Europe. He lives in Warsaw.
