  • Biography
    I am active as a draftsman, painter, illustrator and publicist. I paint and draw much outside "Plein air", mainly in the neighborhood. Weekly I draw to "live model" in which the main subject is the body expression.
    For Wegener newspapers I wrote and illustrated many years all sorts of interesting facts about the area. I also wrote and illustrated a series of walking and cycling books with subject: estates and their history in the east of the Netherlands.
    Every week I go out several times to paint somewhere in the field

    Event: Pictura gelria

    I often go out painting with friends-painters. We named our group "Picture Gelria" and we paint in the province Gelderland (Gelria) in the east of the Netherlands
    Lange Hofstraat 16, Zutphen Netherlands. Open from 11:00 - 17:00

    Event: Outwards !

    Venue: Zutphen (Netherlands), Studio 3, Sutfene

    It is summer, the season a lot of painters go out to paint in the open. On this exhibition you will find only PleinAir painted work. Oilpaintings as well as drawings and watercolor. It concerns work I made in Italy, France, Austria and my own country of course: the Netherlands.
