About Steve Bennett
Biography
I start with an idea or an image, usually drop them into Photoshop adjust the brightness an contrast, polarise them and print them out to size I trace these onto the Lino and refine by drawing over the trace.
Recently I have tried ironing the print out directly onto the Lino with mixed results.
Once I am happy with the drawing I start the cutting process - I like to refer to the original image or photo and use the cutting tools to determine the final Lino. Then onto the printing, most of the prints are done by hand using a wooden spoon and a barren.
