Biography
I make musical, interactive, illuminated sculptures out of wood, blow moulded glass and guitar strings. They are geometric experiments that allow viewers to experiment with their own geometric taste, their attraction to natural, organic forms and their subsequent fondness for traditional ornamental styles. The guitar strings can be plucked and there are often levers and tuning devices to allow further interaction with the sculptures. The strings act as a reference or dialectical datum for the viewers to test their propensity for the natural shapes of the wood.
