    In December 2023 a new studio is born in Bologna (Italy). Spazio3 is not just an artist's studio, it is a place to meet, share, exhibit, work, study and much more, open to all those who have an idea or a project but do not have a physical place to realize it. It is a magical place that my partner and I have given life to and that shines every day thanks to the support of those who believe in this place.

    Tetrapak engraving

    When I post my artwork you don't perceive all the work behind it, I hope that through this video you can better understand all that goes on before a finished artwork. I am getting more passionate and trying out new no-toxic engraving techniques. Such as this etching on tetrapak, a really great material.

    I do not only create my work, but also the frames on which I paint or print. Mine is a research that starts with the materials, such as the canvas I use, usually a beautiful old hemp canvas, with an elastic and fantastic weave. I personally construct the wooden frame and weave the canvas, preparing the imprimitura (if necessary).

    In this time of pandemic, I had to stay away from my little studio. But that didn't stop me from continuing my artistic production.
