About Iryna Antoniuk

  • Biography

Hello, dear art collectors. My name is Iryna Antoniuk (artistic name IRENA TONE). I am Ukrainian, but now I live and reside in Spain where I create my art.

I would like to say more about my art. My main inspiration is Spanish flowers and plants. When depicting plants and flowers of the Spanish flora, I am trying to reproduce them perfectly and realistically convey every detail. My favourite mediums are acrylic, sandy paste and watercolour. Sometimes I add archival ink to my compositions. I prefer to work with middle and small-sized formats - from small ones that can be placed on a bedside table, to medium-large ones that can be placed on a living room wall. All artworks are always sent to the collector framed and ready to hang - framed or stretched. I take a very responsible approach to shipping deadlines and reliable packaging of paintings. I sent more than 140 artworks abroad and not one was returned.

The best reward for me is when collectors share their impressions of the work they received and tell touching stories about how the birthday person received the painting or sculpture, how it fits in the area above the fireplace, and how it complemented other works of art in the collection. As a full-time artist, despite I don’t have a formal art education, I am continuously learning and taking part in art open calls, exhibitions, fairs and shows.

    Kindest regards, Iryna
