About Irina Ponna

Hello, Artfinder! My name is Irina Ponamarchuk . Irina Ponna is my creative pseudonym. I’m a Ukrainian painter from Kyiv. I’m a full time artist and can’t imagine a single day without painting. My country is going through hard times right now and it’s difficult for me to accept this cruel reality and only art transfer me into my wonderful world and make me calm and happy. My paintings reflect my inner world, they all are permeated with light and positive energy of my soul. I always try to explore new methods, styles, and materials throughout my career to show people how beautiful our life can be! I work in a variety of genres and techniques, from landscapes to portraits and still life paintings. In 2021 I used to live on the sea cost and drew inspiration from beautiful sea landscapes. Blue waves  created new images in my head and inspired me on new paintings. I’m addicted to art and, I often participate in modern exhibitions, in 2018 I I took first place in the art exhibition among hundreds of participants from different countries and won a trip to Rome.I was very excited and I realized that my mission is to bring art to people. I have about 50 paintings for sale and every day I work on creating new ones. Mostly I prefer large oil canvases, but I also create small watercolors and pastels.
