My name is Inna Stubbs. I am an artist working full-time in Moscow, Russia. I have painted in my studio over 70 large-format canvases. I work in a largely abstract style, using both oils and acrylics. My canvases are infused with considerable color and emotion.
I was born in Siberia, where the beauty of nature is quite limited in color (often monochromatic landscapes). But inside me there has always been a strong attraction to the beauty of polychromatism.
I have worked as a freelance artist already for three years now. I am continually in search of new techniques and means of expression and possibilities for expressing my emotions on canvas. I study regularly with one of the leading professors of the esteemed Moscow Surikov Art Institute.
Abstract art is my conscious choice. It is my means of interacting with the world around me. I am very in emotional nature, and explosions of colors and forms are my way of expressing my thoughts and emotions. It is critical for me to excite people, to touch their hearts and not merely to leave them indifferent. I love it when people react in different ways to my abstraction.
I have participated in several exhibitions in Russia and Europe. I am planning to participate in two art fairs in Europe over the next year. At present, my works are exhibited by the Russian art gallery ARTIS, in the prestigious Vinzavod Centre of Contemporary Art in Moscow.
But I dream having my works enjoy more international exposure and especially to that segment of lovers of contemporary art hosted by ARTFINDER.
