About Iliyana Chernaeva

My name is Iliyana Chernaeva. 

Ever since I was a kid I have been inspired by the illustrations from my childhood books. And still much of my creativity comes from there. My work is also greatly influenced by the textures, colours and sounds of the world that surround us. I love to experiment with different kinds of materials because each and every one brings an unique message. 
I use lots of media to make my drawings as lively and expressive as they are in my imagination - ink, watercolor, pencil, collages, etc.

For me making art is like passing to another dimension where you can express your personality, thoughts and emotions.
