My name is Ihor Zozulia. I am an artist from Vinnytsia, Ukraine.
I spent my childhood in the village of Ruban, surrounded by picturesque nature, which in the future pushed the landscapes.
For many years, I have drawn inspiration from the nature of Ukraine. I leave for plein air, because it is a good opportunity to get new impressions and emotions, and most importantly to convey them immediately on canvas.
Over the last 35 years I have painted over 1000 paintings that were made in the style of impressionism, most of them were created from 1999 to 2017 in the village of Stryzhavka, Vinnytsia region, where I have lived for a long time. In 2006 I founded the public organization "Art Center" in Vinnytsia. I am one of the organizers of the Vinnytsia Art Movement.
More than 20 solo exhibitions were held in Kyiv and Vinnytsia. I participated in charity exhibitions in Ukraine in support of ATO soldiers and in Poland in support of children with cancer.
I'm an author of a unique collection of paintings that reflect the events on the Maidan in 2013-2014.
My works are presented in the Ukrainian art museums. There is a permanent exhibition of my works In the Vinnytsia Museum of Local History.
Two exhibitions were also held at the Vinnytsia Art Museum, where my paintings are also stored.
The vast majority of my works are in private domestic and foreign collections.
I dream that everyone, even on the other corner of the world, will feel the energy and beauty of Ukrainian nature, so I try to put it in my canvases. I am very pleased that Artfinder brings together artists from all over the world on one platform and gives the opportunity to share beauties, new ideas and modern skills.
