Ukrainian artist Igor Galan (b. 1964, Lviv) is celebrated for his technical mastery, innovative style, and storytelling abilities. A graduate of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, his career includes major exhibitions at venues such as the National Art Museum of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago. Galan is particularly known for his large-scale projects, such as the kinetic painting series and the critically acclaimed “Gorbachev and His 15 Republics,” which blends satire, realism, and contemporary aesthetics.
