This artwork immediately spoke to me, representing the chaos of life today amongst the tranquility we seek. The colours are vibrant and the textures created by the layers of paint give so much depth to the work. I love it!

So happy with ‘The Chaos Inside’ by Ian Spicer, which I’d just received, I couldn’t stop myself from ordering ‘If You Look Close Enough’ too. Again, beautifully vibrant colours, movement and textures. And, if you look close enough .. you’ll have to order some of Ian’s work to see for yourself …. not only is texture created through the layering of paint, the contrasting opaque shiny black and matt white paintwork each have their own distinctive textures against the translucent, calming waves of the background. This is an artwork which continues to give me pleasure each time I look at it.

The third artwork from Ian Spicer I’ve bought in succession. It was lovely for Ian to have also sent me a much appreciated small piece of art as a thank you. Again, I love the colours Ian uses, here a more brooding artwork with darker shades - it may depict chaos in the forefront but, in the background I see hope and light - a sunrise, or perhaps the ‘red sky at night’ with promise for the new day. I can’t thank Ian enough for producing these much appreciated works of art. They may be small due to my budget, but they’re huge on giving me pleasure and hope.

Seller communication was very good. There was a postal delay, and he kept on top of it and made sure I was current. I like both paintings, the spider web a little better than the oil and water one, but both were carefully designed and add interest to my office. Thanks!

I have ordered from Ian before. The works were for my mum's birthday who is 88. She is not too well herself and my Dad has cancer. She has been through several years of sadness and stress. She loved the works which are on the wall and bring colour and positivity in her life. Ian kindly sent a separate original birthday card which she also loves. Ian is such a great guy and has shown great empathy to both me and all members of my family. He also inspired me to start painting which has helped my mental health over the last few years. Many thanks Ian.
