    Exhibition prints

    A selection of prints from a recent exhibition. Small prints around A3 in size. Most of the things I show are quite large, around 30 x 20 inches in size, but I had a small extra space to fill, so I ran out to Ikea and bought a few frames! I wonder sometimes if the framing is an issue with the prints for sale? Would you prefer the largest print that the canvas allows, or would you prefer a (smaller) print that easily fits some readily available frames ? Message me, please .....

    My Mirfield studio with some prints on display ...

    My studio is in a small narrow space in what used to be a cinema - The Vale - in Mirfield. Then it was Sin - a nightclub, and I'm in the cloakroom! It's remarkable what fits in this small space. I feel lucky to be here !!

    Studio selection

    I moved into this space in July of 2013. I spent the best part of a year perfecting the printing process. As a photographer I was never happy with what commercial labs turned out (Come back Worcester Photo Post - the only ones who would listen to me)! The same is true of large format printing. Months went by as I made profile after profile, and finally made some decent prints. Color gamut is everything ! I'm also a fan of large file sizes. Some are over 500Gb! There is detail in those prints!

    Studio in Mirfield, West Yorkshire

    Some framed prints that have just returned from the Lawrence Batley Exhibition. I like to cover the walls with art. It feels like it's bursting to get out of the studio sometimes ! Last year, just after I'd moved in the studio, there was a Host art trail event organised by a group of Art enthusiasts in Huddersfield. I opened my studio and showed a few people the work, but the walls were pretty bare. So I decided to cover all the walls, and this year it is cancelled. That's life !!
