    This was a Private commission from a Gal who lived in Paris last year. There are specific symbols included in this painting, representing aspects of her life, then and now.... I had the uncommon pleasure of spending an afternoon in this Client's Apartment in Paris' 15th, so I could recreate it to some degree, from memory. I love painting interiors, and implimenting elements that are in effect, visual descriptions of a person.

In this case I worked from several photos, and asked quite a lot of questions of my client, in order to get a feel for this subject's character. From there, using a Backdrop Photo, I created this Painting that tells the story of this Girl....

Authored by my Daughter, a brilliant writer, they come with Music composed by Wojahn Bros Music; twins, and Award Winning Jingle writing brothers of mine.     My work can be in any medium, take place anywhere, at anytime!!!! The fun is that I never know just what might inspire the next piece of art!!! Along the Seine, on Paris' left bank, is a stretch of one after another of fun, family oriented activities to engage in. Among these there is a Climbing Wall, a Merry Go Round, and a Giant Chalkboard; inviting anyone who dares, to have a go at chalking up some Art! One of those Afternoons, I spied this adorable Kid nearby, and asked "son Mere" if he could pose for me!!!

    This was a private commission from a gal whose Granddaughter is marking her first birthday... working from photos of the child and the "Things" in her world that summarize who Albie is as she approaches the big day. I managed to compose a Painting that her Grandmother- the client- is most pleased with!!!
