Event: The Secret Postcard project. Art and design artfair FreshPaint, Tel Aviv. Israel.

The Secret Postcard project is Freshpaint’s flagship social project. It offers for sale original postcard-size artworks by renowned artists and designers, as well as young artists and students. All of the postcards can be purchased at the fair or online and presented anonymously – only after the purchase can the buyers discover the identity of the artist behind the work they have chosen.
Along the years, around 9,000 postcards have been sold via this project, including works by international artists Jake and Dinos Chapman, Haim Steinbach and Ron Arad. Over 1.5 million ILS were raised in this way, to help children from disadvantaged families take part in art programs.

Biography
Hodaya Levin is an artist based in Israel whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. Her abstract works explore existential questions relating to the meaning of life, our role in the universe, as well as death, and the concepts of good and evil. Levin employs archetypes and other cultural codes to aid her in the deciphering of the abstract messages of the soul. For her, art is an instrument of goodness that can change the world for the better.

In painting, I practice automatic writing. Fluid technology helps me achieve inner harmony. The canvas itself is my palette, and Life itself is a limitless studio and creative Scene. My basic tools are acrylic resistant ink on plexiglass and mix media on canvas.
