About Helen Sinfield

  • Biography
Whilst studying Art and Design in the beautiful city of York my specialism was in Graphic Design. Post Graduation I utilised the skills gained to forge a successful career as an Illustrator / Graphic Designer. Working within a variety of companies gave me valuable commercial experience as an artist.

In recent years I have been able to focus on my painting. Commissioned work and selling through online galleries has reignited my passion in this field.
My preference for materials is is mixed media and acrylic as my latest pieces demonstrate. I relish the opportunity to explore mixed media in my work working with gouache, watercolour, pastels and acrylic.

My love of travel, nature and horse racing provides lots of inspiration and stimulus. This enables me to produce work which encapsulates my passion, experience and memories, sometimes elevating the ordinary as much as the extraordinary. I hope you enjoy viewing it as much as I delight in creating it.
