About Heather Matthews

I have a passion for art and am inspired by the natural world. It's rewarding to start with a blank canvas and transform it into an artwork that can bring something special into someone's home or work environment and become part of their lives and memories. I paint in oils, watercolour, acrylics and mixed media and I love  the special qualities that each of those mediums can bring to my painting.  My paintings and detailed prints can be found in private collections across America, Canada, Singapore, South Africa, and many European countries, as well as the UK.
