About Heather Hunt

  • Biography
I live in Cornwall and love what I do and where I am in my life.
I trained as a potter at college in Stoke on Trent where I met the lovely Gordon Hunt and married him in 1983, we have had a great adventure together and you can also find Gordon's work here on Artfinder. We have two fantastic and creative children who practice art in their own fields. My ceramics consists of sculptures of fish, and birds, chickens and sheep, and other familiar creatures. fired either as Raku or Stoneware, depending on my mood and the weather!! My paintings are quirky pictures of people in the landscape I love, doing things I enjoy. When I am out and about I can see things that instantly look like a picture to me and I save this for later when I can put it down in my style on canvas. i do hope you enjoy looking at my work.
