About Hannah Forward

  • Biography
Hannah Forward is a printmaker and artist based in Hove, East Sussex. Her work is often about capturing the everyday social events in modern life that often go unrecorded in contemporary art. Her work is bold and graphic, with a strong focus on unusual composition. Her prints have been displayed at Bankside Gallery London as part of 'The Masters Relief Printmaking' Exhibition, curated by Angie Lewin in 2015 and as part of the National Original Print Exhibition in 2014. In 2017 she was awarded the Pressing Matters magazine prize at Brighton Print Fair. In 2018 her linocut print 'Cassette Tapes' was selected for the 250th Royal Academy Summer Show, curated by Grayson Perry. She was selected for the RA Summer Show again in 2019 with her linocut print 'Cameras'.
